Birmingham FA - developing football for everyone

About us - promoting local football

The BCFA was formed way back in 1875 when just 10 clubs joined together with the promise of control, organisation, planning and increased participation which are at the forefront of our operations today.

Our original home was based in the City Centre in which we moved in 1969 to a nearby office in Aston.

As the nation's love of the game grew so too did the BCFA as we moved to the Headquarters where we sit today in Great Barr.

The site houses our offices, committee rooms, changing facilities and the Walter Goodman Stadium, the venue for the majority of our prestigious County Cup Finals and the home ground of the BCFA Representative teams.

Further expansion in recent years has seen Birmingham County FA's Development Scheme move on site, working closer than ever alongside the governance operations, bringing benefits to both departments.

From humble beginnings, Birmingham County FA now registers around 2500 clubs and 75 leagues.
