We work closely with key partners such as the English Federation of Disability Sport, education, family support groups and local authorities to ensure that playing, coaching and refereeing opportunities are inclusive.
Disability football is now thriving with new clubs developing all the time. Numerous FA Coaching Disabled Footballers courses are organised throughout the year alongside coaches seminars, fundays and schools leagues.
Disability Football Centre of Excellence: The centre provides a high quality coaching programme to the most talented disability footballers from across the region along with the opportunity to compete in a regular fixture programme against other teams from the West Midlands.
FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Course: a one day awareness workshop which incorporates theoretical and practical elements. Students deliver sessions and look at how they can be adapted to include players with various disabilities.
The course is an excellent way to gain an insight into disability football and gives candidates a great opportunity to find out more about national disability football initiatives.
