Club Coach Mentoring Scheme

What is the Club Coach Mentoring Scheme?
The Club Coach Mentoring scheme aims to create a mentoring scheme in each Charter Standard Development and Community Club across the Birmingham County FA region encouraging Clubs to run comprehensive in-service training for their coaches.
The scheme aims to train one individual who can act as a lead mentor for the club and work with the County FA to assess the needs of the clubs coaches and create an in-service programme of workshops throughout the year.

The in-service workshops could be on any coaching topic your club requires from goalkeeping to defending, age appropriate coaching to 11 v 11 coaching. Birmingham County FA aims to create a Club Coach Mentoring Scheme tailored to each clubs needs and wishes.

What support will Birmingham County FA offer the clubs enrolled on the Club Coach Mentoring Scheme?
The development team at Birmingham County FA will support each individual club to develop a programme of in-service training based out of the club to meet the needs of the club coaches.

Birmingham County FA will ensure that all workshops and in-service training are run by fully qualified professional tutors and coaches to guarantee the highest standards of delivery are met.
The year long programme will be tailored to each clubs needs and will be written and developed in conjunction with the club at the heart of the programme.
