First awarded in 1876, the prestigious Senior Challenge Cup is one of the oldest football knockout competitions in history. It is just one of 13 County Cup competitions providing all Member Clubs with the opportunity to compete on a County-wide basis, outside of their regular league fixture.
Meanwhile, two Representative Squads operate at U16 and U18 level, allowing young men the chance to represent their County and compete alongside and against others of similar ability.
In more recent years, the BCFA Womens Futsal League has been launched. Its central venue format is designed to offer women the opportunity to compete for a set number of weeks after work.
Girls are also invited to get involved via the BCFA Girls Schools league which operates during term time at central venues throughout the region.
