Affiliation

Birmingham County FA registers around 2500 clubs throughout the region.

Forms for existing clubs to register for the 2010-11 season have now been prepared and have been forwarded onto Club Secretaries.

To make the registration process as easy as possible for Club Secretaries, forms will already contain the information held by Birmingham County FA about the respective club.

They can then simply be amended, signed and returned to County HQ along with the relevant registration fee no later than 30th June 2010.

You will be sent confirmation of affiliation in the post.

CLUB WELFARE OFFICER:  All clubs with youth teams (u18 and below) MUST have a Club Welfare Officer (CWO) in order to affiliate.  The CWO must have either an accepted enhanced CRB check or as a minimum have submitted their CRB paperwork to The FA CRB Unit so that the check is in progress.  They must also have completed The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop and also have attended a WOW (welfare officer workshop).

NEW CLUBS:  can download the appropriate form from this page.

CLUBS WITH SATURDAY & SUNDAY TEAMS:  require seperate affiliation for both days.

LATE FEE:  forms returned after the deadline of 30th June 2010 will incur a late fee.
