The squad are eagerly awaiting the chance to take part in the competition which will take them from the small stages of Sandwell to the biggest footballing stage in the country, Wembley, a journey which the BCFA will closely follow.
Coach Alec Longhurst of Brandhall Colts added ‘I guess its sort of a Roy of the Rovers boyhood dream, but for 16 of our lads its actually going to happen.’
Brandhall Colts have been together for 9 years and have won a number of trophies along the way which includes the Division 2 title last season and they came runners up in the League Cup final too.
However the UMBRO Destination Wembley challenge will be a competition which will really test the local club as they will be catapulted in the spot light and will be faced with a huge challenge to play in the Champions League style tournament with its international scope.
The BCFA will keep you updated with the squads progress and we will be fully behind Brandhall Colts throughout their journey.
