Tracking CRB Checks Online

3:36 PM, Wednesday, 03 September 08. Welfare

Club Secretaries and Welfare Officers can now monitor the progress of CRB checks at their clubs online thanks to a service launched by The FA.

Access to “Safeguarding Online” is available to Club Welfare Officers who can request a password via the login page.

Club Welfare Officers will need to have an “accepted” FA Enhanced CRB Disclosure via The FA CRB Unit and have attended The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop.

“Safeguarding Online” shows whether an individual’s CRB Disclosure is “accepted” or “in progress”.

“I’m sure this facility will help Club Welfare Officers who are responsible for overseeing the completion of CRB disclosures for volunteers at their club,” said BCFA Welfare Officer, Paul Milne.

Users need to request a password from the main login page. An individual’s NPD Number is also required - this can be obtained from their League Welfare Officer.
