The program is run by the National Football Association and is funded by Tesco and the National Sports Foundation. The program is designed to give children countrywide, aged 5-11, the opportunity to develop generic fundamental movement patterns and football skills in a creative, fun, and positive learning environment.
The new George Salter’s FA Tesco Skills Centre opens on Thursday evenings between 4-7pm for a select number of children from September. The Skills Centre will have 16 places within each primary school age group which includes school years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
If you and your child would like to be part of a far-reaching programme aimed at giving youngsters up and down the country the opportunity to get active and have fun while improving their football skills, then please get involved.
