College Football In The Black Country

TEAM 19 has kicked off in style in the Black Country, with many colleges across the area starting their intramural leagues.

TEAM 19 is college Football for students, led by students. The rules, format, design and competition is selected by the students so they get to make the decisions for their own enjoyment and participation.

Leagues have started at Dudley College, City of Wolverhampton College, Sandwell College and Oldbury Academy with over 35 small sided teams competing in fun, fast football during college free time.

We are also in the process of setting up Student Management Teams which will be mentored and supported by Birmingham County FA/college staff to develop skills in leading their own football at College. The teams will take different roles in supporting recreational football at college including; refereeing, promoting the game, futsal and football futures leaders.
