Volunteer Referees Wanted
Club Legends Cup - 12th July
We are looking for 4 Referees to support the Club Legends Cup Charity Tournament.
The tournament is taking place at the LG Arena on Saturday 12th July and will see former stars of Midlands football teaming up with the fans as they renew old friendships and rivalries in support of Midlands blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia.
The likes of Lee Hendrie, Stiliyan Petrov, Matt Murray, Darren Purse, Darren Moore, David Busst and Jorge Leitao will represent Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Coventry City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Walsall and West Bromwich Albion in what is sure to be a fantastic event.
Not only will this be a footballing spectacle not to be missed but, in addition, there will be an opportunity to witness legends of the future in the FootieBugs Little Legends Cup featuring six teams of kids from all around the region. The junior tournament will kick the day off at giving youngsters the chance to play at the prestigious arena.
The footballing program will be completed with a Ladies Legends match showcasing the female game in the Midlands making the whole event a truly unique display of all those that play beautiful game. We need 4 officials (Level 5 or 6) to officiate throughout the day, firstly the children's tournament, then the ladies match and then the unique opportunity to Referee the ex pros.
Referee's will be paid travel expenses and can also access free tickets for friends or family to watch the event, as well as being invited to the VIP after party.
