During The National Game Board meeting held on Wednesday 25th January 2017, it was sanctioned that all age groups and formats of youth football must hold Personal Accident insurance from the start of Season 2017-18, which was previously optional for youth football.
If players become injured whilst participating in football, financial lost can occur as a result. Personal Accident insurance provides cover to players and can help to offset this potential loss or unexpected expenses.
Mandatory Level of Benefit Cover
Birmingham FA is committed to making football safer for all participants and we are currently working with our insurance partners who will support our member clubs to get the cover they need ready for the 2017-18 season.
