YOUTH COUNCIL LAUNCHES DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Birmingham FA Youth Council is delighted to announce that it has re-launched its Youth Leadership Development Programme (YLDP) for the 2017/18 season, aimed at those already volunteering and working in football to enhance leadership skills through CPD (continued professional development), mentoring and local events.

The Youth Leadership Development Programme is open to all aged between 14 and 25 and consists of monthly CPD sessions hosted at Birmingham FA’s Ray Hall Lane headquarters. These sessions focus on specific leadership skills and the support of participants’ personal and professional development.

Each young leader will be provided with a mentor from their respective field of work, who will volunteer their time to provide support.

Leaders will be invited to help run and organise events alongside the Birmingham County FA Youth Council, with the focus being on leaders developing themselves so as to later give back to their communities.
