SENIOR CHALLENGE CUP SECOND ROUND RESULTS

The Second Round of the Senior Challenge Cup concluded last night with Rushall Olympic FC securing the last spot in the quarter-final after a convincing 3-0 victory against Lye Town FC.

Wolverhampton Wanderers also booked their place in the latter stages of the competition after a 6-0 win against Tividale FC, whilst Burton Albion FC were the only Football League side to progress from the Second Round after holding their nerve in a penalty shootout against Halesowen Town FC.

Leamington FC continued the defence of their title in a five-goal thriller against Banbury United, where they ran out 3-2 winners. They will be joined in the last eight by National League side Solihull Moors FC, who beat AFC Wulfrunians away from home, and Tamworth FC.

West Bromwich Albion and Coventry City were knocked out by Romulus FC and Nuneaton Borough FC respectively.
