semi final 2020

SENIOR CHALLENGE CUP SEMI-FINAL DRAW REVEALED

WITH TWO QUARTER-FINALS LEFT TO PLAY, WE NOW KNOW WHO IS FACING WHO IN THE LAST FOUR OF THIS YEAR’S SENIOR CHALLENGE CUP AFTER THE DRAW FOR THE SEMI-FINAL WAS MADE.

There could potentially be a repeat of the 2019 Final at St. Andrew’s Stadium, with Leamington FC and Nuneaton Borough FC being drawn in the same semi-final.

The Brakes will have to get past Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers first, who they are due to face on Tuesday 12 February. Meanwhile, the Boro have already secured their place in the semi-final after a dramatic 4-3 victory against Burton Albion FC. After going 3-0 down in the match, a hat-trick from Joel Kettle secured a sensational comeback for Jimmy Ginnelly’s side.

Tamworth FC took a step closer to the final after an impressive 6-2 victory against Solihull Moors FC. They will face Rushall Olympic FC or Romulus FC, who will both be hoping to reach the final for the first time.

The date for both semi-final ties will be confirmed in due course.
