Female Football for U17 – U21

Birmingham FA supports the FA Further Education and Higher Education Hub Community programmes to help females play football whilst in Education.

Within both of these sectors we operate a recreational league for players wishing to play without the demands that a competitive team brings. Please ask your college or university if you wish to be involved in a team in these leagues.

League Football

The Central Warwickshire Girls Football League (CWGFL) offers divisions for all ages up to U18. From there, the local County League is the Birmingham County Women’s League (BCWL). Both are FA Charter Standard accredited Leagues. Please note, females can play open age football from the age of 16.

We have three simple goals to increase the number and diversity of women’s coaches, referees and administrators in the sport at all levels.

  • Consistent Success on the World Stage
