Birmingham Community League opens its doors to another campaign

Teams are encouraged to enter the Community League and come together to celebrate the diverse communities across the region.

The Community League has been a huge success in providing players and teams with a flexible format of the game, where teams can play from as little as once a month to once a week if they wish!

Since its introduction, the Community League has been effective in re-engaging adult male football players back into 11v11 football, and is a celebration of the diverse communities across the Birmingham FA region.

Following an incredible season last year, the Birmingham Community Cup came to an exciting conclusion with the final held at Birmingham City Football Club’s St. Andrew’s Stadium. Nineveh FC were crowned Birmingham FA Community Cup champions winning 4-3 on penalties after an enthralling game ended 2 - 2 after 90 minutes.

The Community League will work in the following format:

 

Premier Division 

Format: 2 games per month
Venue: Arrangement made between teams
£25 registration fee, £2 per player per game

 

Division 1 & 2 

Format: One game per month
Venue: Red House Park Great Barr
Day: Saturday 2pm kick offs
£25 registration fee, £2 per player per game

Start date: Season starts 9th September (Division 1) & 23rd September (Division 2)

 

Birmingham Division

Venue: Saltley Leisure Centre,
Day: Saturday 10.30am kick offs,
£25 registration fee, £2 per player

Start date: Season starts 16th September
