The FA Basic Referee Course

The FA Referees Course is designed for anyone aged 14 and up who wants to join the tens of thousands of referees who operate week in, week out on local parks, throughout the English football pyramid, up to those who officiate The FA Cup Final and on the International stage.

FAQs

Yes, you must be 14 years old to take The FA Basic Referee Course.

It is our policy at Birmingham County FA to give the first opportunity to those candidates that complete the expression of interest form.

The pre-requisites are; FA Safeguarding, Laws of the Game and a DBS. Please click here to find out more.
