Coundon Court kickstarted their first Comets session on Friday evening at PowerLeague (Coventry)!

Comets is aimed at 5-11 year old Pan-Disability players and Coundon Court are one of three new centres in Birmingham County FA.

10 new players participated in the session with varying disabilities but all with the same outcome… lots of fun and lots of football!

One parent was really pleased with their child’s response to the session, stating: “All I can say is thank you to the coaches, my child was so excited when he got home to tell me about his first football session. He loved it and wants to come back and do it again, so we will most definitely be there next week.” 

Birmingham County FA is delighted that Coundon Court have launched their new Comets centre. Eddie, Shaminder, Ben and the whole Coundon Court family have been fantastic trailblazers for this new pilot and we are very excited to see their sessions grow, creating inclusive opportunities for participation at their club.
