Birmingham Ability Counts League Returns

The 2023/24 season kicked off Sunday 24th September.

The Birmingham Ability Counts League commenced for the 2023/24 season (Sunday 24th September) at their new venue at Brookvale Academy, Aston Villa.

Twelve teams competed in a 3-hour long tournament with a multitude of clubs represented. Aston Villa Foundation, Birmingham ACR, Birmingham City Community Trust, Midland MenCap and Sutton Special Olympics were all represented in the fun and inclusive 5 aside competition. Next Sunday sees the Premier Elite division get their journey underway with the Youth Leagues commencing the week following. Both Alvechurch and Boldmere St Michaels will see their season start in the respective competitions.

The playing season runs from September until May and has historically provided inclusive opportunities for all Pan-Disability players within Birmingham to benefit from a competitive opportunity.

Pan-Disability Football provides players with a broad spectrum of impairments and health conditions to play together allowing an inclusive model for all players to thrive.
