The Birmingham County Male Education League reached its conclusion on Wednesday (24 April), with the male league final taking place at Birmingham County FA’s headquarters. 

After a successful season of 11 university development teams coming together to form a division in the Birmingham County Education League, we progressed into a small knockout stage.

It was the University of Warwick and the University of Birmingham who came together in the final, which was an entertaining affair ending 1-1 after 90 minutes. It came down to penalties, with the University of Birmingham coming out victorious. 

We at the County FA aim to grow all the divisions within our Education League in the new season. Along with the University Male League; we have a University Female division, two college divisions and a PAN Disability division.
