Our Referees Courses at Birmingham County FA are released throughout the year and the first people to have the opportunity to book on are those who have expressed an interest.

The FA Basic Referee Course

The FA Referees Course is designed for anyone aged 14 and up who wants to join the tens of thousands of referees who operate week in week out on local parks, throughout the English football pyramid, up to those who officiate The FA Cup Final and on the International stage.

Yes you must be 14 years old to take both the mini soccer and full referees course.

It is our policy as Birmingham County FA  to give the first opportunity to those candidates that complete the expression of interest form.

A course will go on the website 2 full weeks after those that have expressed an interest have been informed. 

Course are predominately held in the summer as preparation for the season. We do run courses across the rest of the year but these are mostly Mini Soccer Courses.
