Celebrate and recognise our match officials across the Birmingham County FA region.

Birmingham County FA Referee Awards is an annual event, which aims to recognise the achievements made by both young referees and long-serving match officials. 

The Referee Awards was first hosted back in 2011 at West Bromwich Albion's ground, The Hawthorns Stadium, and for each year moving forwards has been a highlighted as a special event for our affiliated referees.

The Birmingham FA Referee Awards are awarded to referees who have accuminlated a certain amount of refereeing years. 

  • 21 Years
  • 25 Years
  • 40 Years
  • 50 Years
  • Long Service Award
  • National Final Recognition

The Referee of the Year Award is awarded to a match official who has been recognised by his peers.

The award is presented to the winner at the annual Birmingham County FA Referee Awards evening, which usually takes place in during May, June or July each year.
