Birmingham County FA affiliated match official Sian Massey-Ellis has been appointed as Assistant Referee for this year’s UEFA Youth Champions League Final between Benfica and Real Madrid on Tuesday 25 August, making her the first female official to ever be involved in the final. 
Taking place in Geneva, Sian will join referee Chris Kavanagh, fellow assistant referee Daniel Cook and fourth official David Coote as part of the first English referee team to oversee the fixture.
