7^th February 2024 saw Birmingham County FA host a Women's Coach Development Group. The group is aimed at those 18+ and is designed to help and support females at any level with their coaching journey.

Vicky Mitchell (BCFA Women and Girls Football Development Officer) says; “Whilst there’s 100’s of coaches volunteering relentlessly, for me it’s important we hold CPD for ladies only, this allows the ladies of 18+ to attend and learn their specific trade in a nice safe environment. I have been amazed to see the growth of this collective group, seeing how they have flourished with opportunities, how they have helped each other and whilst listening to their journeys, I have been blown away on just how far they really have come with confidence alone”.

Birmingham County FA have some inspirational mentors where as a group, they have taken time out helping our female coaching group members progress in such a positive way. The programme is truly providing the females from all over our district success.
