All set for the Final mental health festival of the season

Thank you to all teams and organisations who have played in this year’s mental health festivals

With our final mental health festival of the season to be played on the 26th June hosted by Sky Blues in the Community, we want to thank all teams and organisations who have played in this year’s mental health festivals.

We've had 6 clubs host at least 1 of the events, and have 11 teams affiliated for the 24/25 season,

Ryan, the Disability FDO at the Birmingham County Football Association. said “When we set this league up, we wanted to make sure the focus is on supporting all players with their mental health, by making each fixture day a non-competitive participation with friendly fixtures only, it allows people of all abilities to come and get involved.

"On behalf of the Birmingham County FA, I would like to thank Alvechurch, Aston Villa, FC Equalise, Mental Health FC, Mindful FA, Sandwell African and Caribbean Mental Health Foundation, Sky Blues in the Community, Walsall Foundation and Wolves Foundation for taking part in this season.”

The Birmingham FA Mental Health League takes part once a month hosted by one of the affiliated clubs at a centralised venue.
