FA Talent Identification Programme

Birmingham FA England Talent Day will take place in February 2016 as part of the Disability Talent Identification Programme (TIP)

The England Talent Day is open to all players who have a classified disability with successful players advancing to a six week training programme used as a prescriptive player assessment/signposting period. TIP is the new entry point into the England Disability Talent Pathway and the identification process is used to identify talented players to move up the pathway towards our international squads.

This is a wonderful chance for a football player, with any of the following impairments or disabilities:

  • Partially sighted (visual impairment)
  • Deaf/hearing impaired
  • Cerebral Palsy (impairment of muscle tone, movement, co-ordination and control)
  • Amputee
  • Learning Disability
  • Blind

The FA Disability Talent Identification Programme:

  • Identifies and signposts talented players from England Talent Days to the Talent Identification Programme
  • Engages and challenges players in technical and games based activities. This will allows the coach to identify and signpost players to the right environment
  • Focuses on game understanding and the development of technique in young players.
  • Selects individuals to move onto a bespoke training programme away from the TIP’s environment monitored by the Talent Selection Officer

Our FA England Talent Day will be taking place from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Saturday 27th February 2016 at CTC Kingshurst, B37 6NU.

Please Note There Is No Fee or Charge For This Programme!
